• Parents of children with special educational needs are twice as likely to say their child has been bullied in the last year compared to parents of children who do not have special educational needs( 32 % vs 16 %)
• Parents in North East England are twice as likely than parents in London( 28 % vs 14 %) to say their child has been bullied
• Parents who say their child’ s school is strict are less likely to say their child has been bullied( 18 % strict vs 27 % not strict) and are generally happier with how incidents of bullying have been handled( 68 % strict vs 40 % not strict)
